Sign
Accessible via: Main Menu -> Sign
Sign is e-signature inside the platform: upload a document, send it to the people who need to sign, and track what’s outstanding — without leaving for a separate signing tool or re-keying who signed what.
Sending a document
- Open Sign in the left rail.
- Click Upload Document.
- Place the signature and data fields, and add the recipients.
- Send it.
Recipients sign in their browser; no account is required on their side.
Tracking what’s outstanding
The document list filters by state:
- Pending — sent, waiting on at least one signature.
- Completed — everyone has signed.
- Draft — uploaded but not yet sent.
Filter further by sender and by time period, or search by document name. Use Create Folder to group documents — by client, property, or matter — and Open in new tab to work in the signing surface full-screen.
Signing as part of automation
Signature requests don’t have to be sent by hand. A workflow can generate a document and send it for signature as a step, then continue when it comes back signed — that’s what the wait-for-callback node is for. This is the usual shape for anything recurring: renewals, agreements, authorities.
Sign vs Forms
| Use it for | |
|---|---|
| Sign | Any document you need signed. You bring the document. |
| Forms | Prescribed, regulator-issued forms with defined fields, filled from your data. |
A completed form often ends up in Sign to be executed.
Credits
Sending a document for signature consumes credits — the Credits page estimates how many documents your balance covers. See Billing & Credits.
