Credits
Accessible via: Workspace settings (gear beside the workspace name) -> Credits
You pay for output, not seats. Credits are the work Sammy can do for you — they’re consumed when something actually runs, and nothing is charged for an idle account.
The settings surface is titled after your workspace — " settings" — and holds two money-related entries: Plan (what you’re subscribed to) and Credits (your balance and top-ups).
Your credit balance
Credits shows the balance shared across your organisation, split into two kinds:
- From your plan — refreshes at the start of each month. Unused plan credits don’t roll over.
- Topped up — credits you’ve bought on top of the plan. These never expire.
The same page estimates what the balance buys in concrete terms — documents e-signed, automations run, notifications sent — so the number means something before you’ve spent it.
Topping up
Buy credits from the Credits page at any time. Top-ups apply immediately and sit alongside your plan credits.
Auto-reload
Auto-reload is the safety net for unattended work: set a trigger balance and a top-up amount, and the card on file is charged each time the balance falls to the trigger. It’s off until you turn it on, and can be turned off again at any time.
Monthly spend cap
Set a cap to bound auto-reload. Once the cap is reached, auto-reload pauses for the rest of the month — manual top-ups still work, so a cap slows automatic spending without blocking you.
Set both together. Auto-reload without a cap has no ceiling; a cap without auto-reload never fires.
Reading your usage
The Usage tab on the Credits page breaks a month down into:
- Purchases — credits added, separated into plan allocation and top-ups.
- Usage — what consumed credits.
- Transactions — the individual entries behind those totals.
Pick the month from the selector, and Export CSV to take the period away for your own reporting.
What members see
Members who aren’t owners get the same numbers under Personal settings › Usage. The figures there are organisation-wide, not per-user — everyone’s activity is covered by the organisation’s plan, and per-user attribution isn’t broken out yet. Owners see the same totals on the Credits page.
Plans
The Plan entry in workspace settings sets the monthly credit allocation and which capabilities are available. Changing plan changes the allocation from the next cycle. See Organisation for who can make that change.
